The Heatley Park upgrade was funded by the Queensland Government’s Works for Queensland program.

The facilities at Heatley Park were at the end of their asset lifespan and needed renewing. The plan for the park included a variety of playground equipment and a Modular Pumptrack to encourage friends to play together, challenge each other, and improve fitness.

My client (Townsville City Council) needed a pump track that was easy to install, cost effective and robust, hence we chose a Modular Pumptrack by Parkitect Australia.

Townsville City Council were so happy with the proposal and the end result that they decided to install two tracks at different park sites in the region.

Parkitect Australia provided simple easy solutions with various designs, easy to install and built from strong materials. The tracks also will suite any solution for a multi-use site.
