Parkitect Modular Pumptrack Tibooburra
Modular Pumptrack Tibooburra
Parkitect Modular Pumptrack Tibooburra track project

In such a remote location, the opportunities for young people to have fun and stay active are limited. The RDA’s organising committee was keen to find a playspace solution that was easy to install, within their budget and attractive to kids of all ages. It was also important that it was durable to withstand the area’s high temperatures.

Project Summary

Together with the council, Parkitect Australia chose the World Cup design to meet the needs of their budget and the age range of local kids.

The council engaged a local contractor to assemble the Modular Pumptrack.

Parkitect suggested that the area could be enhanced, making it more usable, by adding concrete paths to the “on and off ramps” and synthetic turf for aesthetic appeal.

“Because of our remote location, it was extremely expensive to create a quality local playspace.

From the initial enquiry to the final delivery onsite, the communication and information provided by Parkitect was outstanding and professional. It made the process of this project trouble-free.

The response from both the organising committee, the builder who assembled the track and the community was that they are all very happy with the result.

Thank you again for the supply and service provided – very much appreciated.”
