Installed at the end of 2021, the sleek World Cup track is 64 metres long. Made of proprietary reinforced fibreglass, the track features a high grip riding surface, making it ideal for use by kids on bikes, scooters, and skateboards.

Project Summary

The BIG4 Sandstone Point Holiday Resort is located directly between Brisbane CBD and the Sunshine Coast, and is a stone’s throw away from Bribie Island. The resort not only offers guests access to magnificent beaches and scenic bushland, but it prides itself on offering world-class recreational facilities for the whole family.

Which is why resort Director David Comiskey decided to install the latest Park Edition Modular Pumptrack to attract both new guests and keep the regulars coming back. David was especially keen to provide a playspace facility that appealed to a range of age groups, from young children through to teenagers.

I was a skateboarder myself, back in the day, so I was really attracted to a pump track. Parkitect’s new fibreglass version is awesome.

I felt it would be a real hit for our main demographic, 6 to 12-year-olds. Plus, it was a nice-looking unit and quick to install.

The feedback has been fantastic. The kids love it, and so do the parents.
