We may be slower than Europe to pick up on trends but Aussies are definitely starting to really understand why the European designed pump tracks are super cool to ride.

So we went in search for what is making the pump track such an attractive option for play grounds, play spaces and caravan parks?

The answer was right there in front of us.

Pump tracks are not an intimidating concrete or steel monstrosity, in fact they are not ugly at all.

Pump tracks gently flow around the landscape, tracking between existing big and small trees, around corners, along side playgrounds, inside old tennis courts – they are just so friendly on the environment.

So now we get what Europe has been on about for the last 10+ years but our question of; Why do Aussies specifically love a ‘Modular Pumptrack’ was still unanswered.

Digging much deeper we found that the Modular Pumptrack System built in Europe by Parkitect definitely has significant advantages over traditional dirt or even asphalt pump track build methods.

The Modular Pumptrack patented design and manufacturing methods (both Precast Concrete and Timber Composite) are award winning for really good reasons. On closer inspection, when multiple combinations of the 11 perfectly engineered modules are used to create a pump track, the perfect riding flow is created very easily. And because everyone is having fun on their choice of wheels, like bikes, scooters, skateboards and blades at the same time, it makes for a super happy place for all ages.  A very cool concept.

Based on the amount of public and private money that has been spent on skate parks and traditional pump tracks in the past, it’s clear that if the perfect riding flow is not achieved, the investment will not be enjoyed as intended and therefore can easily result in becoming a problem space.

We now get it too.  When it comes to rider enjoyment and safety, you should only want to invest in a designed track that is proven by thousands upon thousands of riders, from beginner to the most experienced pro-rider and that’s why Parkitect’s Modular Pumptrack System has made such an impact in Australia.

Here in Australia we may be slow to take on Europe’s latest trends but at least now with the global successes of Parkitect’s Modular Pumptrack System we can have the confidence to invest in a proven product that guarantees an awesome riding experience.
